I'm sure many people will think I'm crazy, but I don't find Jessica Simpson THAT attractive. I could name 100's of women more attrative then her, with my wife at the top of the list. If having huge boobs, blonde hair, and being relatively fit make you absolutely georgous, I guess she'd qualify. But, there's more to it then that. And then, there's that mouth of hers. It is HUGE -- i'm fairly sure she could swallow a child whole. Other then being famous she's all rather average at best. Have you seen that video she has out promoting the film? I ran across it one day, and she's washing the General Lee (a car, natch) in a string bikini! This is the SAME Jessica Simpson that was preaching modesty and Jesus back in '99! Talk about a 180 turn. Way too strange an occurence for my taste. I guess a little money makes you that much more greedy.
But, I digress. She's starring in the new Dukes of Hazzard movie. It looks like the producers have tried to take the basic premise and modernize it. By modernize, I mean sleeze it up and dumb it down. Now, Dukes was never high art, but Daisy duke was sexy without being a string bikini clad blonde bimbo. And, I'm fairly sure the Duke boys never hung out in a girls dorm with panty clad coeds. Bah. I'd rather have seen a Dukes movie in the vein of Smokey and the Bandit. Far be it from me to complain about bikini clad women in movies, but comm'on. Much like the Fantasic Four, I seriously wonder of the makes of this film ever even watch the show.
I suppose the movie could still be entertaining, but I won't be finding out in the theaters.
